Finally, we can share some of the stuff we have been working on. As this post’s title implies it is not yet the finished product, but we’re very proud of what we have achieved so far. So, now that this is out in the open, perhaps some publisher out there can take a hint and help us finish this awesome game! Those of you who think we should continue making Hail To The King while we wait for a publisher can donate their spare change. Such an act of kindness will not go unrewarded
Enjoy the trailer.

Le Rantilerant
Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 by Johan H, CEONothing new to report besides we’ve completed our new Alive & Undead pitch and moved on to the new Colosseum 2 pitch. Sell, sell sell. Last week we whooped the asses of the Bloodline Champion team in football (to some known as soccer). 10-2.
Moving on. I did a google picture search this morning and came across these interesting pictures.
Me, some Microsoft dude and Pontus winning the .NET Awards (Microsoft).
Me, Pontus, Nicke and Lars were supposed to claim the Venture Cup final victory (Venture Cup).
Me touching Ant. But why?? (Metro Teknik).
I really do hope that I can present some fresh development news to you guys soonish. Hold tight!
We’re Almost Revealing a New Title
Tuesday, June 9th, 2009 by Johan H, CEOSummer plans are almost set. Besides developing games (of course) we’ll put a lot of focus into making pitch material for Alive & Undead, Colosseum 2 and two super secret games, whereof one of the super secret games might show up in a digital store near you this fall. More of this is to follow. Our ambition was to make the GAME OF THE YEAR 2009, but unfortunately Activision claimed this ambition alone for Modern Warfare 2 at E3. We respect that BUT we’ve reserved this ambition for 2010, don’t forget.
When I was browsing the internets the other week I came across this picture of our producer Sebastian:
Pretty random, but cool. This slick man will do a great job pitching our games to important people. He will sure help the next generation to experience great games by Shortfuse. Don’t you think?
On Sales and What’s Next
Friday, April 3rd, 2009 by Johan H, CEOHey guys!
You news consuming dogs most probably know by now that the Xbox LIVE Community Games sales figures unfortunately are in parity with the general state of the world econmy. In other words, not that good. It’s bad, but we’ll (try) not to cover anything up. I’ve been in contact with a couple of game journalists and explained my view on the low sales, which are 4000 units for us btw. Check out Patrick Klepek’s article at Gamasutra which features our and a couple of other fellow devs’ view on this.
One bad thing gives three good things though:
1. Colosseum has since November 19 been downloaded by more than 122.000 people (cool)!
2. We’ve lowered the price on Colosseum to 400 msp only. Anyone interested??!
3. We’re still going strong, check out www.aliveandundead.com!
And four, it’s friday – happy weekend guys! This will be my first non-work weekend in three weeks.
